About Me

A lifelong hobby dating back to middle school photo club where generous teachers took time to show us the basics during lunch; how to develop our rolls of Tri-X and how to dodge and burn our masterpieces to perfection. What a blessing to still be at it these years later with the incredible tools available to us today.

I love capturing moments of our shared human experience. No different than looking through a roll of negatives for the first time, is the feeling of anticipation when working through the first cut of a new download out of the camera hoping to find some treasures with the potential to come to life in post-processing.

While the intrinsic satisfaction that I find in the capture-to-print lifecycle of an image is rewarding, what really brings meaning to me is the hope that a photo will find its way to where it belongs, bringing joy and meaning to someone now and for years to come.
